These Terms & Conditions apply to all services provided by First Call Heating & Plumbing Solutions LTD Trading as Same Day Property Services (“we”, “us”, or “our”) and form the basis of our agreement with you, the client. By accepting our estimate, making a payment, or allowing work to commence, you agree to be bound by the following terms.
1.1 Full payment for all works is due on the day of completion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.2 A deposit may be required prior to commencement. This will be confirmed in writing within the estimate or booking confirmation.
1.3 Accepted payment methods include bank transfer, credit/debit card, (cards only accpeted in person not over phone) and cash.
1.4 By paying a deposit and/or allowing us to proceed, the client accepts these Terms & Conditions in full.
1.5 If payment is not made on the day of completion, we reserve the right to instruct a debt collection agency and/or initiate legal proceedings immediately without further notice. All costs related to collection or legal action will be added to the outstanding balance and payable by the client. late payments will incure £150 admin fee for the first reminder letter written.
1.6 In the event of non-payment, we also reserve the right to remove or uninstall any materials, fittings, or work carried out during the course of the job, where legally and logistically feasible. The client agrees to provide access to enable recovery if necessary.
2.1 All estimates are based on the information available at the time of issue and are not fixed-price quotes unless clearly stated as such.
2.2 Any changes to the scope of work, client requests, or unforeseen site conditions may result in adjustments to the final invoice.
2.3 We reserve the right to amend estimates if supplier pricing or labour costs change before the job begins.
3.1 If the client cancels the work after accepting an estimate, we reserve the right to charge for materials ordered and/or labour already undertaken.
3.2 Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled start date may result in a call-out fee or loss of deposit to cover our scheduling and operational costs.
4.1 We provide a 12-month warranty on all workmanship from the date of completion or payment of the final invoice, whichever is later.
4.2 No warranty is valid if the final invoice remains unpaid.
4.3 The warranty does not cover faults due to misuse, neglect, third-party interference, or unauthorised modifications.
4.4 If a fault arises, the client agrees to allow us up to three attempts to investigate and rectify the issue before engaging any third-party contractors. Failure to do so may void the warranty and release us from liability.
5.1 The client must ensure safe and unobstructed access to the work area.
5.2 Delays or additional costs caused by restricted access, unsafe conditions, or unavailable materials may result in additional charges.
5.3 Clients are responsible for protecting or removing personal items, furniture, and valuables from the work area.
6.1 All work is carried out in accordance with current UK Building Regulations, Health & Safety standards, and industry best practices.
6.2 We reserve the right to refuse to carry out any work that would result in non-compliance with relevant laws or safety codes.
7.1 We are not liable for delays, damages, or losses caused by factors beyond our control, including adverse weather, supplier delays, or third-party interference.
7.2 We are not responsible for pre-existing system faults or damage not caused by our work.
7.3 We do not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses such as loss of income, enjoyment, or business interruption.
8.1 The client is responsible for obtaining any necessary permissions, consents, or permits unless otherwise agreed in writing.
8.2 Where other trades or third parties are involved, the client must ensure coordination with our team to avoid delays.
9.1 In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt resolution via informal negotiation or mediation before taking legal steps.
9.2 Any legal proceedings shall fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
10.1 Acceptance of a written estimate, payment of a deposit, or commencement of work constitutes full agreement to these Terms & Conditions.
